You must have stayed in the sun for hours and not realize that you were burned until you got home. It is very important to limit exposure to the sun and take additional measures to protect yourself. However, if you have overreacted in the sun, you can happily do much to treat your skin.
Dr. Sujata Jolie, dermatologist and founder of the Clinogen laboratory, says:
To protect yourself from UV rays, you need to wear appropriate clothes, such as fresh sleeves, long pants, or long dresses, a broad hat, and so on. ”
Apply a sunscreen of 30 or higher SPFs to your face and neck in the morning, as the main step in your care routine to protect your skin. But if you're going to stay in the sun for a long time, it's good to reapproach it during the day.
If it's too late to give you advice and you've already been burned by the sun, then use aloe wine gel, which will reduce inflammation.
“Aloe wine contains anti-inflammatory compounds, which reduce swelling, stimulate healing and pain,” - Dr Jolly explains.
Remember, it must be pure gel wine, taken from the leaves of a plant, and applied directly to the affected area. Products containing aloes of wine as ingredients may not have the same effect as pure wine aloes.
Remember to let your skin breathe by putting on loose cotton clothes, you can also apply a cold compass, such as a wet coat of cold water. Drinking plenty of water is also essential in order to prevent dehydranation.
A burning is like an open wound and should be treated as such. If burns are severe, you should urgently consult a doctor.
