Russian authorities claim they have eliminated 61 mercenaries from Kosovo, while another 60 are said to have left. Currently, according to the Russian Defence Ministry, 35 Kosovo citizens remain part of the war in Ukraine.

But such a thing is denied by representatives of Kosovo institutions.

“We have no information on any citizen of the Republic of Kosovo who is part of the war in Ukraine, and for less than the victims among them, just as Russian President Vladimir Putin's agencies,”, Kosovo Interior Affairs Minister Jedal Svecla said in an interview for Radio Free Europe.

He added that all of Russia's claims, in relation to Kosovo, are propaganda.

This in order to justify its unfair and unprofessed aggression in Ukraine, but also mobilise its ranks and supporters against democratic, lyrical countries, among which is the Republic of Kosovo”, Svechla said.
