Heavy Djukanovic with “Open Balkans”: Remove four countries, may end with genocide

Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic continues to reject the regional initiative “Open Balkans” as Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic has indicated in his favour.

He says this initiative has been launched by Serbia and aims to change borders and ethnic and religious homogenisation within the states of this region.

The “refers to an alternative scenario for the future of the Western Balkans outside the EU. That we don't need. We need EU membership. Those who do not see our region in Europe see no multiethnic democracy in the Balkans. They like the idea of changing borders, ethnic and religious homogenization within expanded states. As usual, everything begins traditionally from the Serbian side, this time in the Serbian “world”. And it goes on, automatically, with the same villains of the great state”, has said the Montenegrin president of the portal “Autonomija”, broadcast Klankosova.tv.

Even Djukanovic says the “Open Balkans” ends with the disappearance of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, and also leads the region into war.

But it is certain that it would have ended with war and several other genocides”, Milo Djukanovic has declared.

Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which have rejected the “Open Balkans”, have participated for the first time as observers at the summit of this regional initiative that was held in Ohrid on June 7th and 8th.

Kosovo remains the only country of the Western Balkan region that in any form has become part of the Open “Balkan”, while Prime Minister Albin Kurti says Kosovo needs this initiative because it is launched by Serbia and aims to replace the Berlin Process.
