There are different genes and cultural features that play a big role in making us unique. But have you ever wondered why your genital organs are different from your body?
Urologia, surgeon, and sex educator Rena Malik said that this depends on hormones and testosterone, as well as on sexual activity.
She said, “having darker skin in the genius region is quite normal. This actually happens to everyone. It usually happens very gradually and tries to get darker with the age of”.
Hormones like testosterone have an effect on melanochity, cells responsible for producing melanin, and color definition.
Experts said that the body is going through a series of processes involving a change in hormones, such as puberty or pregnancy. And the second reason is because of different types of friction, such as sex, as well as hair removal products.
Rena added: “This is perfectly normal. If you really want to avoid the darkest skin in the genital area, you can try to avoid friction”.
It recommended: “You can try wearing loose clothing and keep your skin hydrated. Avoid also removing hairs with such things as depiling or shaving, and then wearing clothes that take away sweat to keep” dry.
If your skin has suffered drastic bleach, Rena recommends consulting your doctor, writes DailyStar.
