Albania lifts customs tariffs for Kosovo, Serbian, Macedonian goods

The decision comes in the continuation of the country's commitments in the open Balkans process and the assistance member states should provide each other in the high price crisis.
Although Kosovo is not part of this initiative, the Finance Ministry has decided its exemption under agreements the two countries have for removing customs barriers with each other.
The tariffs for parking vehicles, printing or sealing goods, and their weight will become zero.
Current tariffs are 6 euros for parking, 7 euros for weight and 50 cents for the deployment of customs lead.
For a truck crossing goods from Albanian border points, costs will be approximately 14 euros lower than before.
In the first part of this year, our country's imports to Serbia reached 100m euros, half the goods we export to this state.
Kosovo is one of the main sources where Albanian business sells goods. For January, exports to Kosovo reached 132m euros, while importing 49m euros.
In northern Macedonia, Albania bought 55.2m euros in goods and sold 62m euros. /Euronews/
