Spain's prime minister, Pedro Sanchez, has said the country he heads is willing to accept that the European Union gives Kosovo visa liberalisation.

“Spain has a constructive attitude and we are open to the adoption of this visa removal for Kosovo”, the president said at a press conference at the end of the European Council in Brussels, which he preceded Thursday morning a meeting of Western Balkan leaders, wrote Infoliabre, broadcast Klankosova.tv.

However, the European Council has not yet given the green light on this move, among other things because five member states of Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Romania and Slovakia do not recognise Kosovo as independent.
