The Highway Control Unit continues with increased road traffic safety measures, implementing operational plans such as “Safety in road traffic” & ” Seting security measures to road traffic” as well as “Enhancing increased public transport of passengers”.
During the period from 01.05.2022 to 3105.2022, 4291 fines have been imposed for various countertakes in traffic, from which, under the operational plan “increased control of public transportation of travellers” have imposed 137 fines for passenger public transport vehicles, of which 29 tickets to legal persons.
Therefore, in addition to police activities in this regard, Kosovo Police appeal to all traffic participants to gain increased care, respect road traffic regulations and signs, as well as adapt to conditions of the road and the atmosphere, to have greater safety in traffic.
For all those who participate in traffic, particularly drivers who violate traffic laws and regulations, punishments will be taken under law enforcement.
