Up to 12,000 euros for concert: Major sums paid by Albanian VIPs

The summer season has officially started, along with the working season for Albanian artists. After two years that artists almost stayed out of pandemic, this summer is totally booked for them. But it seems that price hikes have affected artists.

In the wake of difficulties due to pandemic, even some of the most popular stage artists have increased their concert fee. However, the most famous names have a busy agenda this summer, having almost every day booked. There are even those who have as many as 3 concerts in one day.

Often, the movement on the list of paid singers has been where record figures total up to 8 thousand euros. Even, Kosovo artists' managers in the published figures say they have fees of up to 10,000 euros or 12,000 euros, of course for a certain singer/store.

Although the figures are rarely and have been made public in official form, this continues to be best attested to the luxurious life they lead, including their clips and holidays that are already mostly exposed to social networks. Singers like Tayna, Ledri Voula Ghetto Geasi, Dafina Zeqiri, Nora Istrefi, Mozzik, Meda, and many others are among the public's most popular names, which are said to be well paid. In this regard, in November former manager Drin Zatriqi asked the new government to regulate the estrada tax, publishing prices for some artists who benefit from concerts.

So they, along with Elgit Doda, have a fully booked wine, where up to 8 thousand euros will be paid for a concert.

Most of their concerts are in coastal clubs, but also outside Albania. Switzerland is the state that pays the most, where for a night of concert, along with social media advertising that Donald and Romeo charge numbers up to 10,000 euros.

Not even Nozy, who this year has an increase in his tariffs, but also a greater number of concerts within Albania. Although a few years ago, he has won again the king of the night of live. So, for this season, Nozy is back on top of the list, leaving his colleagues behind. Up to 5 thousand euros is the fee it receives to perform within borders and up to 8 thousand euros abroad.

Another singer who is among the most paid this season is Alban Skenderaj. Although it is most important to select the club and events he chooses, the singer has a very busy agenda this summer, where prices for it total up to 5 thousand euros.

Even the queen of live nights, Elvana Gjata has an increase in her demands. Since 2018, she lost her throne, dropping to the fee 3 thousand euros. It seems that her departure into the United States, the lack of new Wednesdays on our market has taken Elvana off this throne. But upon returning, the artist resumed his career, where she left him. Elvana now receives up to 5,000 euros per night and twice that amount for concerts outside Albania. It seems that new songs have once again restored selected singers to the ball.

On the other hand, Enca seems to have lost value in the concert market. Years ago, it was paid up to 5 thousand euros for a live night, but it seems that the music market with a new production has increased the artist, who is recently spending more time in Dubai than in Tirana. Its list of concerts this summer is more lost than at other times, receiving up to 2 thousand euros for its performances.

But quite another thing seems to be the situation with folk music singers, which this year will have a prosperous season, mainly with weddings. Sinan Hoxha, Artjola Toska and Fatmira Brecani are at the top of the lists, where they also have as much as 5 thousand euros for weddings outside Albania, mainly in diaspora. A lower fee is held at their music concerts.

The surprise of this season is undoubtedly Beatrix, which has become one of the most recently paid artists. It seems that the drama of sharing with Donald has served in professional life, raising tariffs. Following the new songs and popularity the story gave to the Big Brother, Beatrice will receive between 3 and 5 thousand euros for concerts he will hold during the summer. Currently, the popular singer is working for other songs, and during the season she will be in different clubs, where she will perform alongside Dafina Zeqiri and her partner, DJ Geek.

What we notice about this season is a Flor Mumajes pull from the live nights. The renowned artist has appeared more drawn to concerts in recent years, preferring to be more participants in private parties, where he performs along with Three Dots' boys. Together they have a fee of up to 80,000 euros, however, away from the 5 thousand-euro price that only Flori had seasons before.

Most interesting is the list of Kosovo artists, who daily and more become popular even in our country. Ledri, Ylli Limani, Gatoari and Capital T are some of the singers who have a busy season where Ledri holds the record up to three concerts per day.
