According to one study, the way you spend your money determines your personality. Are you curious to know some of your personality traits? It is now known that it is possible to buy and sell different types of online products through various payment channels.
Technology use means that our banking movements generate information that has been studied by some experts who have discovered that this will determine the personality of consumers based on their choices. So it was possible to take a sample of online consumers to conduct a study to see if purchases could somehow be a source of personality definition. All of this is dictated by the fact that when we buy online we have preferences, looking for our favorite products in categories that show what we like.
Researchers have found that the most open and free people tend to spend their money mainly on flights and trips, while the most social people use their money for food or drink.
On the other hand, the most sensitive subjects are more likely to make donations for charity, while the most responsible make investments.
Materialists continue to buy more luxury goods as jewelry or valuables.
The study was conducted regardless of the age, income, or gender of buyers, making it as homogenous as possible. The only factor that changed information in the study was people who lived in disadvantaged and poor areas, as they had no available resources and could not have freedom in the market.
This study has been used primarily to understand what the consumer requires, passing specific analysis on which products to focus, creating a real marketing strategy.
