Iryna Venedikova said today that the Russian soldier, currently in custody, will appear before the court for the murder of a defenseless civilian in Ukraine's Sumy region.
In the past month, Venice had said that “has a large number of cases” of killings of Ukrainian civilians by Russian troops as it confirmed that its team is working on more than 8,000 war crimes cases in its country.
