Decani historians demand that the church on UP's property be converted into the Holocaust Museum

The League of Kosovo Historians “Ali Hadri”, the Decan branch, through a communiqué for the media, called on the implementing law bodies in Pristina today for the Church on UP property to turn into the Holocaust Museum as the argument of the Holocaust that Serbia undertook against Kosovo Albanians. We consider that the ongoing battle over property [...]
We consider that the ongoing battle for property in the vicinity of Pristina University's Rectorate should go in favour of the Albanian and non-Serb side, because the church launched on UP property is the violent church of the time of the violent measures of Milosevic's time”, said in the communique.
The Constitutional Court in Pristina in November last year has interrupted the procedure in the case where Pristina University has indicted the Serbian Orthodox Church for proving the right to return to use property in campus, where the church is located.
The indictment reportedly has been exploiting the area's 4.27.16 ha in Pristina since 12 December 1975, which has been used unhindered in that time as an integral part of the University Campus according to the University Centre's urban plan in Pristina.
The League of Kosovo Historians, meanwhile, reiterates its stance and calls for the Kosovo Constitutional Court's decision on properties near the Decani Monastery to be carried out, as its implementation will be a dangerous precedent for Kosovo.
“Every act of judgment by courts around our country, which legalises the decisions of Milosevic's time, is the anti-national, unconstitutional and anti-legal decision, since the decisions of Milosevic's time should not be implemented in Kosovo” are said in communiqué. /Periscopi/
