Blake Lively always amazed on the red carpet, but this year she's out of her expectations. The actress arrived on the red carpet dressed in a dress by Atelier Versace, Princess style, who was later transformed as she climbed the steps of Matt.
The actress's dress was decorated with a giant ribbon, before the assistants stepped in to turn the dress from duck-gold to so muchua-blue in front of public eyes.
Explaining where her appearance was inspired at Matt Gala 2022, Blake Lively told The Cut:
Instead of being influenced by fashions on clothing, I was influenced by New York City architecture and classical building”.
Pointing to the tail of her dress, Lively said this is the barn of Grandaque Central Station. Its bust, meanwhile, was inspired by the Empire State Building, while the garment and crown of the Statue of Liberty. Lively went on to explain that the crown has seven levels, just as the statue has seven rays.
