What is the EU's stance on attacks on Kosovo police and not backing sanctions from Serbia?

Albanian journalist Erisa Zykaj in a direct link from Brussels for abcnews. al has spoken of the EU-held stance concerning attacks on Kosovo police in the country's north. It has conveyed the European Commission's response to attacks on Kosovo police in the north. European Union strongly condemns recent attacks on patrols [...]
The European Union strongly condemns recent attacks on Kosovo Police patrols. Kosovo police are the main security provider and any use of force against its police officers is unacceptable. We call on all to avoid unnecessary speculation that could add further tensions, stressing that the investigation of the case will be made by relevant law enforcement bodies” has announced Zykaj
Zykaj said there has been a heated debate in the Bay of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Commission, where it is urged Serbia to take a clear stand in terms of alignment with European Union foreign policy and EU sanctions against Russia for aggression in Ukraine. Even the rapporteur for Serbia in this institution has indicated, even though states are sovereign to make their decisions, as Serbia's friend advises the country, which has opened EU membership negotiations to choose its own camp. European Parliament political groups have talked about the flows for Serbia if it does not line up with EU sanctions against Serbia, including the disruption of pre-membership funds.
Zykaj added that on the matter of sanctions, Germany has recently been in the same line as the recent stance brought by its parliament (Bundestagu), saying that if Serbia does not join sanctions, then the first membership funds (IPA members) should be cut off. Germany has a very important role, as along with France are the EU engine in many areas and EU policies, so this should be taken very seriously. The new German Chancellor Olaf Scholz himself even showed a commitment to the Berlin process. It must be said, in this context of Putin's aggression in Ukraine, The EU cannot afford for a candidate country to have a clear attitude towards EU foreign policy and its sanctions. Even European Commission spokesman Peter Sano in one of his recent reactions has said it is a moral obligation, as it comes to a war and is not only a threat to Europe but also a direct threat to the Western Balkans. Gervala himself said that the Western Balkans are exposed to this danger, and much caution should be taken about peace and security.
