The concept of wild sex is not new, but it is getting more and more attention from the movies we see or the music we hear. This whole range of words is obviously part of pop culture lexic.
But what exactly do we mean when we say we like it, don't like it, or we want to try to make “sex wild/hard”?
Study
In a new study recently published in the Journal of Sex and Marriage Therapy, researchers began to explore how people conceive of wild sex, focusing particularly on gender comparisons, sexual orientation, and political-ideological background.
The study included 4,898 participants (2043 women, 1858 men, 10 transgiar women, 16 transgjian men, 46 individuals who are not identified with one gender). The vast majority of participants were heterosexual.
Participants were asked: “People have different ideas about what they think is wild sex. What does that mean to you?
These behaviors included drawing hair, biting, binding, slap, throwing someone in bed, cutting clothes, and so on.
So, what do we understand with “sex wild”?
Some of the most approved behaviors considered wild sex by all participants were drowning, pulling hair and palms; each was measured by at least two thirds of each subgroup.
Whatever sex we like to have, it's important to have a common sense of what we want or don't want and to be able to communicate clearly our needs with our partner. It is important to communicate clearly what you like or not, what you want or do not want to explore with your partner.
