When the Russian Army entered to take these, they fled to Turkey. Now, just over a month ago, when Putin's forces started fighting in the state of Ukraine, memories of their escape flared up. Four times the World Junior Champion publishes a video standing on the Russian flag with two legs.

The association has reacted to the video at the weekend, but without assessing the 23-year action: “FINA took into account Victoria Güney's post on social networking. It requires all athletes to approach this issue with dignity and respect”.
