A criminal organisation in Italy has been destroyed by police during an anti-drug action.
13 arrest warrants have been issued by Italian authorities, among whom there are Albanians and Italians. 9 arrest warrants have been executed so far.
Italian media report that part of the suspects is also renowned Albanian singer Elsa Lila, 40, as well as a boxer named Petrit Bardhi, known as “Titi”, whose name was another operation conducted by Italian authorities several months ago. According to the Italian press, Elsa Lila allegedly kept the criminal group's financial accounts.
Police action was conducted in Rome and Viterbo on Wednesday morning. The arrest warrants for 13 people have been requested by Rome's Anti-Mafia and issued by the court.
