Economy experts: He's got money back, but he's got a problem before we take Trust once again.

By the time Avdullah Hoti was prime minister, the country's citizens were enabled to withdraw 10% of the money from the Trust. Thus, the amount that Kosovars would withdraw from pensions would be repaid by the Government thanks to the Economic Regeneration Law, starting in 2023. Now, as prices rise in Kosovo,
Now, as prices rise in Kosovo initially, and then the prices of food products have increased, there have also been voices that cite the removal of even a lot of Trust money from Kosovo citizens. At first, they were economic connoisseurs who proposed such a thing, and later, the proposal was supported and even presented today as an official requirement for discussion in the opposition party's Assembly. PDK.
Periscopi has taken the opinion of the first propossors of this subject, economic experts. They told us that this should be done immediately, even allowed to withdraw a 20%. Meanwhile, there are some who support this idea, but say there is a small problem in this.
While the Hoti Government had done this on behalf of the remuneration based on the Regeneration Law, how would the Kurti Government do that in case it even approved a withdrawal of the Trust. How, then, would it be legal? Or, by what competition from the government, would citizens be able to take that money on the condition that they once returned to retirement?
Agim Sahin, economics expert in a proposal for Periscope, has said 20% of the pension savings should be withdrawn from citizens.
The Kosovar Business Alliance is looking to state institutions, which, in its inability to support with other funds citizens and all those in need at this moment of crisis for overcoming it (funds, financial means), following consequents and life difficulties that have been brought, so that the Government can examine the possibility of attracting a percentage, at least 20, of its pension brain means. These vehicles have to go into circulation so that citizens can buy the things they need and overcome this crisis and expensive and lack of wages that are not growing, in the absence of funding for financial support. They are citizens' tools and the government should allow”, Sahin told Periscope.
Sahin even wants the Government to provide additional means for social categories. This, according to him, would help citizens after the price hikes in the country.
Subsequent to distribute its means, but to see the opportunity to provide additional resources from various funds, especially the social categories that live in Kosovo and have difficulty living on 70 euros, 100 euros and 150 euros. It is unimaginable how the government of the country is not sharing additional resources after the expensive electricity and food products. Therefore, we ask the government of the country to at least allow 20% of our tax, our contributions that have been collected, which will help citizens to raise the living standard”.
According to economic connoisseur, the loss of 9 million per cent of pension savings will not be an obstacle to attracting another percentage of pension savings.
The loss that has occurred has not occurred because of the citizens' mistakes, but because the Trust has invested them in the wrong places and should do its best to return the lost contribution, but it is not an obstacle to withdrawing the other percentage from the trust”, he concluded.
But, economy connoisseur Safet Gerjaliu in a statement to Periscope has said there must be an analysis before withdrawing money to the Pension Savings Fund.
According to this analysis, it should be understood whether the state will later return this money or the citizens will just receive it and not be returned.
“In the Hot government when 10 percent of the Pension Force was withdrawn, the guarantor of the return was the fund for economic recovery”, said Gerjaliu, who has a question.
If citizens are going to pull the money now, who will be the guarantee of the return of these vehicles? - Ask Gerjaliu.
They're going to pull these tools out, increase the consumption and they're still going to be out of cash, because nobody guarantees they're going to get their money back on the account. It takes an analysis of what the state guarantees if they withdraw”, it ends.
Gerjaliu also criticized the Government, which he claimed did not receive any incentive to help citizens.
“The crisis has really made it its own, and Kosovo in a social sense is quite endangered. There is a lack of initiative for Government to help citizens in need, and in this direction the only hope of citizens has remained the use of Trust instruments”, he said.
“The crisis really has made it its own, and Kosovo in a social way is a lot of danger. The government is lacking in the initiative to help citizens in need, and in this direction the only hope of citizens has remained the use of Trust tools.
We remember that the PDK initiative has also supported the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
