Russia says it has hit over 1100 military targets in Ukraine

Russia has said Monday it has hit 1146 Ukrainian military objects since the beginning of the attacks last week. This is said in a statement by Major General Igor Konasenkov, who is spokesperson for the Russian Defence Ministry, CNN reports.
Among the targets he said were air protection systems, communications centres, radar. It has also said 311 tanks and armoured vehicles, 42 planes and helicopters, 51 rockets were destroyed.
Konasenkov has said that all Russian troops have advanced further into both pro-Moscow regions east of Ukraine, in Donetzk and Luhansk.
As Konasenkov has added, over the last 24 hours, 110 Ukrainians voluntarily surrendered their weapons.
