Albanian-American Activist and once former KLA Atlantic Battalion member Uk Lushi has commented on the participation of Kosovo leaders in the Munich Conference, expressing concern over the lack of high-ranking meetings.
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, together with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla, have participated for three days in one of the biggest diplomatic meetings arenas known as Munich Conference.
Lushi says the lack of meetings with senior American officials is also disturbing and has called for greater activity from Kosovo diplomacy.
“Nivel of meetings and meetings mostly with friends already of Vjosa Osmani Albanians and Albin Kurti at the Munich Security Conference are the newest fact that Kosovo leadership is not properly accepted and infiltrated in international politics. Concern is also the lack of Kosovo leadership meetings at high levels in Washington D.C. And the United States. The presidency, prime minister and diplomacy of Kosovo must be more active, more demanding and co-operative with institutions and circles that can provide insight into the leadership and diplomacy of Kosovo at the top levels and local world policy office”, Facebook wrote.
Lushi has added that Kosovo- Serbia is in a delicate phase and has said that Kosovo's IDs can reach out even to the Albanian diaspora in this respect.
“The issue of this problem, especially these moments when Serbia-Kosovo reports are in a delicate phase, will only make it harder to restore and penetrate Kosovo to the stairs and spheres where it should be present with leadership. One of the segments that can help is the Diaspora. Kosovo's organs must seek help and co-operate with the Albanian Diaspora”, it is complete. /
