Protesters in the North Against Ambassador: Rohde this is not Germany, this is Serbia

Among the banners held in their hands was one against German Ambassador Jorn Rohde.

“Rohde, this is not your Germany, this is Serbia”, it said, Express newspaper.

Also, in addition to a long Serbian flag that appeared in the protest there were other placards: “With faith in God at Christmas”, <x2) President Vuciq, we trust you”, “because there is no going back from here”, “Justice for Dejan, Miljanin and Sladan”, while the greater size banner was against Prime Minister Kurti.

“Kurti, Kosovo is not your territory, this is our legacy!”

The German ambassador had made a statement that did not please the government in Serbia.

You have blocking barricades and you can't move that much. There are people in the north and I would underline that they are suffering most and that they have become a political hit ball. So, especially now, since Christmas is coming, these barricades must be removed as soon as possible. We need dialogue, not confrontation. My government certainly stands with the Government of Kosovo to escalate the situation. Those responsible for the barricades should think hard that they are making their population suffer”, Rohde said in KTV.

Serbian President Vuciq reacted to that statement.

“Z. Rohde is known for his anti-Serb statements”, Vuciq said.

He went even further than he accused Germany of wanting to dominate the Balkans.

Germany's “representatives think they can decide what beans can be eaten in Mitrovica and what in Zubin Poto8x1>, Vuciq said, complaining that Rohde is not talking about establishing the Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo.
