Kurti-Lajcak meeting will start at 0900, the Kosovo government announced.
Lajcak's visit to Kosovo will take place a day after the EU's top official stayed in Belgrade, where he met with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
Lajcak said he discussed the normalisation of reports between Kosovo and Serbia, but also other topics, including the return of Kosovo Serbs to Kosovo institutions.
Meanwhile, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq said that with the bloc's envoy, he spoke to the dialogue being mediated by the EU, but also about the problems Kosovo Serbs are facing “due to Pristina's unilateral and unregistered moves”.
In November, Serbs in northern Kosovo left Kosovo's institutions (Justice institutions, police, local level, but also from Government and Parliament) in disappointment with the Kosovo Government's decision to reregister Serbian license plates.
But, in the meantime, with the European Union's mediation, Kosovo and Serbia reaching an agreement on the issue of license plates, but not on the return of Serbs to Kosovo institutions.
Lajcak's visit to Kosovo comes days after Belgrade sharply criticised Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's decision, who appointed Democratic Progressive Party leader Nenad Raspic, to the post of Minister for Communities and Kthim.
Serbia said this decision constitutes violations and that Rassic does not represent Kosovo Serbs.
Earlier, Serbian List leader Goran Rakic, head of the main party of Serbs in Kosovo, held the post of minister for Kthim and Community. But he is among the Serbian officials who surrendered from Kosovo institutions because of the license issue.
