After the meeting, Erdogan said peace and stability in the Balkan region are his priority.
“The peace and stability of Montenegro, the Balkans and Europe is of particular importance to Turkey”, Erdogan said.
Erdogan also said Ankara supports Podgorica's Euro-integration process.
“We strongly encourage and support Montenegro, our ally in NATO, to become a full EU member”, the Turkish president said.
The leaders emphasised good bilateral relations between Turkey and Montenegro and expressed readiness for further advancement of relations.
“We are particularly committed to identifying space for advancing bilateral co-operation”, Montenegrin President Djukanovic said. / TRT/
