The U.S. Embassy has issued a warning announcement to American citizens in case they plan to travel to Macedonia.

After big crowds are created on the eve of the holidays at shopping malls, public places and brands, the US Embassy reminds you to take care of the circle where you move by defending yourself and your items worth” say from the US Embassy.
Also, in her letter of counseling for its citizens, the embassy mentions recent threats of bombs in various institutions in the country.
There have been several bomb threats in this country recently. Threats in institutions and public places following police investigation have resulted in fraud. If you are in any bomb-dangered country, we suggest that you listen to security forces suggestions in that country to evacuate from the country's threatened”, the US Embassy in Northern Macedonia reports.
Also, the US Embassy suggests that its citizens be watchful, avoid crowds, read local media, avoid protests or demonstrations, avoid exposure or even follow local authorities' suggestions.
We remember that earlier the German Embassy for similar reasons has warned its citizens to be careful if they travel to northern Macedonia.
