The businessmanferzajas, owner of the company “Hit Imperial”, when he was asked by police in March, had fled home.
He had not even appeared in court that month because of health problems.
So said his lawyer, Avni Ibrahimi, who has further explained that his client is in the hospital, without providing further details whether he is recovering in Kosovo or outside.
Grainca is involved in the case of corruption, pollution, degradation and environmental destruction in the Sharr Mountains, namely in Brezovica.
He has an open indictment on this very issue.
“Fatmir Grainca is charged by prosecution that during 2018, in the tourist area of National Park “Sharri” in Brezovica, the municipality of Shtrpce, has degraded the environment by jeopardising protected natural wealth, so that as the owner of the cadastral parcel number 5602/1 ZK Shtrpce, through construction company “Dush” has started building the B+ residential object P+NK, in the park's third area, near the river, and the other end at about three feet [1 m], which is opposed to the National Park Space Plan “Sharri”, the Law on Environmental Protection and the Kosovo Water Law”, writes in the indictment that owns Insander newspaper.
The charge against him and several others was filed by the Prosecution Prosecutor Rasim Maloku on November 16, 2020.
The trial of Grainca and others has not yet begun, as the hearings called have failed due to the absence of indictees.
Yes, for the destruction of Brezovica, Grainca was also wanted in March, but had not been found by police.
A month later he had surrendered and agreed to cooperate with the Prosecutor.
The cells built illegally by “Hit Imperial”, the Grainca firm, are already owned by some of the known public figures, such as Shyhrete Behluli and Ledri Vula.
Grainca also has shares of the company dealing with the fuel trade, HIT Petrol and N.T.P. KONSUM-F.G, which operates in the business trade field of food items in Ferizaj, based on public data near the Agency for Business Recording.
