Should you always urinate after sex?

You've probably heard it a million times from your friends, older sister and even doctors: urinate always after sex, or else you're in danger of getting a urinary infection (UTI).

But according to Dr. Tanaka Dune, uroginecologist, there is no concrete scientific evidence that there is a significant link between UTI and whether you urinate before or after sex. Which means that while it's perfectly okay if you pee after sex, there's a good chance that this action will not do much but ease your bladder.

However, Dr. Dune says that there are some women who feel a desire to urinate against sex and have to do so, while others can sleep comfortably or resume any activity after sex without hunger. If you feel a hungery desire, you have to do it.

Dr. Dune says she suggests that patients do what is more comfortable for them. It anyway recommends that all practice good hygiene habits in general after sex. And if some people here include urinating, that's absolutely right.

Meanwhile, other gynecologists continue to recommend sex urination, explaining that during sexual acts, germs may come in contact with the urinary leaflet, a small hole over the vagina. Sex hunger helps to remove these germs. They say that “if you don't urinate after sex, you can get a urinary lesion infection (UTI) a easily treatable but painful state. ”

Dr. Tanaka Dune opposes the latter.

Say that, you can keep pissing straight after sex, but you don't have to feel guilty even if you don't sometimes.
