In an interview for Euronews Albania, Svechla underlined that if something like this happens, Kosovo has its own institutions that are willing to defend sovereignty and stand up for the country.
Svechla added that Kosovo has continued EU and US support.
Serbia's nationalist rhetoric, in relation to Kosovo, has not changed from the 1980s and 1990s, has an intensification of it recently. A poisonous rhetoric with which Vucic tries to reason on its actions and draw the attention of Serbia's population from their problems. There's military mobilization, there's mobilization of gendarability and police, which makes us more careful and alert, but not scared.
Kosovo is independent, has its own institutions that are willing to protect both the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Kosovo. I'm convinced it's not about any incubation of the Serbian army or police in Kosovo. But we're willing to take over our country. We have continued support from the EU and the US”, he stressed.
