Haradinaj letter Kurti: Accept America's request about the Targa decision, push

AAK Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has sent a letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti not to take reckless action in the country's veri.

He asks Kurt to accept America's request for delaying implementation of the license decision.

Haradinaj announces:

Honored citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. This is the letter I sent to Prime Minister Kurti:

Honored Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Albin Kurti

With concern, I am conveying the security situation to the north of the country, following your recent decision on license plates. Nobody, within Kosovo or our international partners, disputes Kosovo's right to implement the law throughout the country's territory. But the current moment is sensitive and requires caution and coolness so that the process is not jeopardised towards the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.

Therefore, I request that you urgently accept America's request to delay the decision on illegal license plates in the required deadline, and stop the actions you have taken so far to implement the decision in question.

At the same time, I ask you not to take any action that endangers the country's security in which it wants part, without co-ordination in full with the United States.

I encourage you to seek the help of President Biden's National Security Council, Mr. Biden. Jake Sullivan to clarify and establish actions that contribute to the current security situation in the region, until the Final Agreement between Kosovo and Serbia for mutual recognition.
