Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has mentioned the successes of Kosovo youth in art and sports, which they have said are at his political-making centre. He has said it is high state interest to be their side towards the realism of their potential.
According to Kurti, bullying with political developments in the country sometimes affects the loss of attention to young people's results.
Of the successes in art, culture, and sports, the executive head has spoken until he has opened the government meeting.
“It seems that sometimes the awareness of political developments in the country caused us to lose sight of the results of our young people, but our government keeps them in mind all the time, while in our politics-making centre. We are responsible and responsible, so our high state interest is to be a side to realising their potential”, Kurti has said.
Kurti has said October was marked in sports, in particular in the international arena.
Besides in art and culture, October was a month marked even in sports, especially in the international arena. Boxer Donjeta Sadiku took the bronze at the European Championship in Budva. Nora Gjakova won the silver medal at the Grand Slam of Judo, held in Abu Dhabi. Juvenist Loriana Kuka took the bronze. While Laurine Gashi, with her gold medal at the European Cup for Cadet, promised us that our country's future in Judo is as bright as the present, with which we are already used to”, Kurti said.
He has also cited the success of Suhareka's Balkans by qualifying for the first time in Kosovo's football history.
The prime minister has also talked about the biggest European cultural event, organised for the first time in Kosovo, Bienalja Manifesta 14.
According to him, the potential Kosovo has witnessed.
This was a successful edition, which allowed our citizens for 100 days to enjoy rich art and artistic programme, and also had a very good effect on promoting Kosovo in the world. Manifesta 14 Pristina brought contemporary international, local artists to Pristina, while through numerous visitors, having a positive impact on the country's economy as well. Transforming public spaces and activating our cultural heritage assets in the function of exposing contemporary art are just some of the positive effects, which has brought our country Manifesta”, the prime minister has said.
He has invited citizens to visit artistic interventions at 25 Bienale locations until its closure at the end of October 2022.
