Kosovo must use its potential for renewable energy. This will help combat climate change and achieve energy security. Germany will support Kosovo in building a 100MW solar park. It is not coal, but wind and sun should be Kosovo's future”, Rohde wrote on Twitter.
Even Minister of State for Europe and Klim at Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Lührmann, who stayed in Kosovo on Saturday for between a tweet post, has said that Kosovo must promote solar energy before the coal-based one.

At the meeting Prime Minister Kurti had with Lührmann spoke of co-operation with Germany under the agenda of the Republic of Kosovo for European integration, for the Joint Regional Market as part of the Berlin Process, Kosovo's application to the Council of Europe, energy and the issue of visa liberalisation for citizens of the Republic.
They also talked about energy as a matter of concern for the entire continent of Europe. In addition to long-term plans for the transition towards energy and investment in renewable sources of electricity, Prime Minister Kurti stressed the importance of full and rapid implementation of agreed energy guides to Brussels, to which the Republic of Kosovo and the subordinate institutions have shown high accountability by fulfilling the obligations they have met, and meeting with this winter.
