Presevo Mayor Shqirim Arifi has called for greater commitment from the Government of Kosovo in the population registration process in Serbia, which has started this October 1st, after two decades.
While Albanians in the Presevo Valley are trying to preserve the 2002 censorship figures, Arifi in T7 has expressed concern about the process, as the Serbian state tries to hide the real number of Albanians in Serbia.
He has said she has no resentment with Kurti Government, but according to him, her officials are holding a grudge against her.
If they're just angry, I'm not angry. I'm not excited about this report. I'm getting that there's emotions in them. I've only seen one of Mr. Kurt and I thank”, she said.
According to Arifi, while Serbia is not sleeping, sleeping in relation to this process, it is the Kosovo government.
Arifi has said Serbia has set its eye on Medvedja.
Serbia's “government is not sleeping, it is working, while the Kosovo government is sleeping. With just a video message, she's sleeping. Serbia has set its sights on Medvedja for the weather, and has a realist at”, Arifi told journalist Yupoli.
Arifi has given some ideas about how the Government of Kosovo can help the process.
We seek from the government commitment, not just video messages. They should be organized... we have the country here. We know where the preshears live, live in Fushe Kosovo... let's get organized by buses and send them for population registration, especially in a registration process supported by the European Union”, he has declared.
