Vetevendosje Movement MP Labinette Demi ' Murtezi has criticised the Ministry of Health for new anti-Condivity measures.
At today's session of the Parliament, Demi é Murtez recalled that the speciality of demanding two vaccine doses and a test test The PCR every 48 hours to enter Kosovo has triggered many reactions and a protest.
“It is special to request two vaccine doses and test PCR for other citizens outside Kosovo within the last 48 hours. This move has largely affected citizens who live especially in areas close to the border with Kosovo, with whom we had protests in Kukes -- a request from Health Minister in Northern Macedonia Dr. Bekim Sali, for reviewing measures by the Government of Kosovo, as well as the request of Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinani, also for review of measures”, she said.
The MP says citizens who frequent Kosovo daily are not reacting without reason.
“Today when we are discussing the situation in Kosovo and surrounding countries, we pause and think; are these personalities and these citizens for neglecting the situation by seeking revision of the measures? No. Why are they reacting, and why are we worrying? Because the citizens of these countries frequent Kosovo on a daily basis and test them to come to Kosovo for their needs and jobs every day within the week, it charges them with a minimum three-time test within the week”, she said.
Demi Maurtez mentioned the case of a doctor from Presevo Valley coming to Gjilan for work, stressing that the possibility is for his colleagues from Kosovo to broadcast, who are not obliged to be vaccinated or tested.
She asked Health Minister Rifat Latifi to review these measures.
The honored minister, a statement that had two days ago on her official page the Ministry of Health will review the measures, I hope very much that these interventions for the relief of the circulation of citizens who are not of Kosovo with documentation, but are among us every day, because health workers coming especially from Presevo Valley, from eastern Kosovo, are with us to fight with the pandemi”, Demi Marezi said.
