How can you maintain this balance?
1. Working With Your Problems About Faith
Looks like a cliche, but trust in a partner is one of the foundations of a relationship. If you don't trust him/her, you will not be able to give your partner the personal space you want. The key is to keep a healthy report that makes you both happy. Don't ask about things you don't need, and before any temptation, remember that no one belongs to you.
2. Let the others breathe!
For many couples to be with each other all the time is overwhelming. As you share your bed, your thoughts, feelings, your space, and so try to let your life live their way.
3. Focus on Yourself
A very good way not to be “adjacent” is to deal with things and yourself. Take time to focus on your feelings and thoughts instead of asking for your best half all the time. So, don't bother each other and tell the person in front of you that your happiness depends on him.
4. Be Clear About Your Interests
It is important to set your priorities and goals. Not only will it help you to focus your attention and energy on things of value, but it will keep you from unnecessary and questionable disputes about your partner. So you can both breathe freely.
5. Manage your body language well
We usually use a body language to communicate our feelings, but check them anyway. You can show that you're stuck if you want to be with your hands tight or show them that you need to hug/putted. It's okay, but make it moderate so you don't pressure your partner.

It's the only quality that will make you feel good in any relationship. People who have strong self - confidence do not feel the need to receive answers from others to prove what they are worth. Remember this and never look “adjacent”.

Everyone has limits, barriers and needs. Maybe what behavior is “attached to” for you, it's very normal for your partner so you should talk.
