While Omitron is spreading rapidly throughout the world, it has become clear that certain Omitron symptoms are different from those of the former variants of Covid-19. People are reporting less taste and smell loss and more cold-like symptoms and there is a symptom in particular that continues to appear in people infected with Omitron: Headache.
Early data from Great Britain lists headaches as one of Omitron's most common symptoms, along with nose leaks and fatigue.
Data from the Washington State Health Department published last week shows how common headaches are for people infected with Omitron: 65% of patients reported having headaches, making it one of the most common symptoms.
Why can Omitron cause headaches? It is important to note that headaches are not a new symptom of Coddy-19. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mention headaches as one of the most common symptoms of Coddy-19. Other symptoms include fever and fever, cough, gasp, and difficulties in breathing, fatigue, muscle or body pain, loss of smell and/or taste, vomiting or nausea, diarrhea.
How's Omitron's headache? Headache is a very broad term that can range from minor pain to migraine. But Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease specialist, told us that Omitron's headache is “more likely to be frontal”, which means that maybe you'll feel it on the front of your head and not on the back.
