In late May 2021, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, led by Albin Kurti, proposed that Mr. Joy Tosun. With the approval of even the vote by the Parliament's deputies, this name was elected to the position that oversees the Kosovo Agency for Accreditation (AKA). Before long, however, it was realized that Mr. Tosun is a grandson of Zv. Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi. There were many accusations and reactions to nepotism.

Periscope has secured a decision by the Anti-Corruption Agency (AKK) through which Tosun is obliged to release one of the positions in question in a seven-day term, following the conclusion that it constitutes violation of the Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest.
