Emma Raducanu can breathe a sigh of relief. British police have arrested the man who's been in the house three times where the tennis star lives with her parents on the outskirts of London. The pursuer is called Amrit Magar, 35 years old and married.
Unemployed, he was obsessed with the 19-year-old British girl who appeared everywhere in Britain after the 2021 Open success.
The man claimed to be in love with her and had also managed to find her address, leaving notes and <x0 love vision”. The first time he was able to enter the champion's house, the persecutor had left a letter “Love”.
The second time, in the meantime, he had left a map showing all the way to reach her. Finally, on December 4th, he had decorated a tree in Raducanu's garden with Christmas decorations. Magar had even stolen an athlete left outside the door thinking it belonged to Emma Raducan, and it actually belonged to her father Ian.
The man, thanks to the surveillance camera, has met the man and decided to follow him by calling the police. Arrested a little later, Magar confessed to stealing his shoe just to get a Radukan souvenir. Condemned guilty by the Bromley Court, he will receive his sentence next month.
