Uma Thurman told about what he considers the darkest “secretion” in an essay for the Washington Post.
The star of “Pulp Fiction”, 51, wrote a critical essay on the law in Texas banning abortion. This law prohibits abortions if cardiac activity is discovered in the fetus, which may begin as early as the sixth week of pregnancy, and condemns anyone involved in abortion by doctors to the person who sends a patient to the clinic or gives money for the procedure.
Thurman found that he had had an abortion in his late teens. A light will shine and reach women and girls who are ashamed of being unable to protect themselves and have no institutions to protect them. ”
The actress considered the law to be discriminating against those who are in economic disadvantages. Then he wrote:
“women and children of wealthy families face little danger. I'm sad that the law puts citizens against citizens, affecting these disadvantaged women, denying them the choice of not having children who are unwilling to care for, or giving up hope for the future family they want to create. ”
In confession, the actress said that when she was unable to provide herself with a stable home to raise her child, she allowed them to have children when she was ready and able to grow up.
“has been my darkest secret so far,” said Thurman. I'm 51 and sharing this secret with you from the house where I raised my three children, who are my pride and joy. ”

Thurman is a mother of Maya's daughter and son Levon from marriage to his ex-husband, Ethan Hawke. She also has a daughter, Luna, with her former fiancé, Arpad Busson.
