In recent years, the global divorce rate has risen frighteningly. For example, an average woman from Maldivet, the highest divorce rate, goes through three divorces before she turns 30. The statistics are truly heartbreaking, and the offender has discovered a study at Harvard.
Researchers studied data dating back 45 years and here's what they found:
Research by a Harvard professor released data from over 6300 couples dating back to the '70s. After monitoring the data, it was found that while couples debate and divorce on numerous causes, their likelihood of divorce increases by 30% when the husband is unemployed.
Males who do part - time jobs or do not work at all are more likely to divorce. As the study goes on, it adds that even when men do small jobs or remain unemployed against their will, this situation again leads to tensions in their relationships.
In the meantime, if a woman does not work, this does not lead the couple into divorce.
Most women nowadays are very busy balancing their jobs and homes perfectly, but according to research, a woman's work status has no effect on divorce.
The data collected by couples did not show a positive or negative impact on a woman's financial situation in divorce.
