The rejection of the Kurti Government for the implementation of Washington's agreement is considered an evolution of anti-national agendas, so former Deputy Prime Minister Driton Selmanaj is thinking.
While political analyst Gazmir Racy says this agreement would have an economic impact on our country. Selmanaj and Raci, say this agreement is considered historic.
But doubts are taking place by LDK deputy Driton Selmanaj. He says the chief of executives is not seeking the US evolution in dialogue, saying all past governments have sought the same.
While citing the benefits of Washington's agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, LDK deputy questions that Prime Minister Albin Kurti is working on interests that are at the expense of Kosovo.
“We have been convinced that that agreement is positive for our state in many dimensions, even in terms of empowering international subjectivity, with which they received recognition from Israel, where despite having only a period of recognition for Kosovo. On the other hand in the economic context, where nearly $1 billion was earmarked in Kosovo”.
And we also had a more valuable deal, but what's for us that's unacceptable and that's bad news about Kosovo is that the Kurti Government is not dealing with this topic at all, and that's more than concern, because the new administration in the United States has confirmed the strong support of this agreement, now when you see this approach of our prime minister, I think that this is more relaxed at the very level of disarray, and that is more than anything else, that our prime minister has failed to respond to, or that is, if we're not aware, we're going to say it.
As for dialogue with Serbia, Selmanaj says the prime minister is not seeking US evolution in the process. According to him, evolution has even searched for past governments.
I don't think it's completely unconscious. I rather think it's as a result of his approach and political roasting. It looks like the pro-Western values of the American, it seems that Mr. Kurt has some other orientation. You see that even in the dialogue process with Serbia, there is no insistence on the US's involvement in this” process.
All governments have been convinced that without US evolution in dialogue, there can be no results, and the prime minister himself knows that. Now why you don't insist on being US at the table, it makes me wonder if it's part of other agendas that don't want the good for Kosovo”, says Selmanaj.
Anti-national action also calls the action to open KLA archives. The same says Serbia has asked for it even at the time when the government chief was Avdullah Hoti.
With this approach of what's going on in the dialogue process, especially the latest action to open the KLA archives, I think it's the most anti-national action that's become the last 20 years. We have been part of the dialogue, where Mr. Hoti has been in dialogue, and several meetings have been held on this issue. It has been earnestly requested by Serbia that the KLA archives be opened, and in no way have we accepted that the KLA and archives become part of negotiations when we speak of the found, because we are aware that there are no archives and the KLA war is holy”, Selmanaj said,
The signing of Washington's agreement is also seeking political analyst Gazmir Racci. For Online Economy, Raraci says Kosovo must implement international agreements, especially initiated by the US.
Kosovo must remain loyal to its obligations in the international arena, even to Washington's agreement. So this agreement with some points that have diskutable, yet, Kosovo has to implement, because it is the international obligation taken at the White House, and it has been taken in co-operation with our main ally, who are the United States, so we should not have discussions on this point, because we have built an alliance for the United States, and we dare not shake that strategic alliance we have, not respecting international obligations. We are internationally recognised state supported by the United States, so we must remain faithful. The main result of that agreement is Israel's recognition”, Raci said.
Speaking of that, Edita Tahiri's former adviser says this deal would have an economic impact on the country.
He says that certainly Government should say yes to a strategic investment, as according to him, Kosovo can empower it in the international arena.
Then there is the road that connects our highways to those of Serbia, here they have economic impact. Then there is the pipeline, which is a strategic project that will neither begin nor end with this government, so it is a long-term project. Even in this respect, the Government of Kosovo, indiscriminately, must say yes to a strategic investment because Kosovo only empowers it in the international arena and makes stability and peace factor in the Western Balkans”.
Former Edita Tahiri adviser does not believe that a rift between Kosovo and the US could be caused.
