If you are a parent, you probably know how important your child's early years are. During these years you have the opportunity to influence their lives. There are many factors that affect a child's brain. However, certain customs are important to them.
We worry about what a child is about to become tomorrow, but we forget he's somebody today. ”-Stcia Tauscher
A study published by the “The Lancet” sought to find out how 3 customs affect cognitive development in children between the ages of 8 and 11. It's about sleep, training, and standing time before the screen.
Remember:
1. Sleep: 9 or 10 hours
2. Exercise: 60 minutes of moderate physical activity
3. Time before screen: 2 hours
More than 45 participants were tested for language, memory, speed, and physical activity.
Amazingly, the study found that only 5% of participants meet the above three guidelines, as well as 29% that did not meet even one of them.
The study found that children standing in front of the screen more than 2 hours each day have a worse performance than children who stay less than 2 hours.
But how can you apply this method for your child's benefit?
Three habits are simple.
Sleep involves more than hours of sleep, but knowledge of each child's particular sleep patterns and habits can hinder the ability to get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep.
Training is more than just getting out. It has to do with finding the kind of exercise your child likes so that they can turn physical activity into priorities as they grow up.
The time before the screen is about developing creativity. That's learning time. YouTube documentation for animals, solar systems, or other children's programs. What children gain in this case is no match for online games. Try giving your children different content because they have the ability to absorb everything.
Take the necessary time to start applying these habits, which will make a big difference.
