The <x0-Verra Book Fair started yesterday in Malta” in Tuz, Montenegro, as one of the most important cultural events in the Tuz municipality. A space devoted to all worshipers of the book who at this fair have found themselves amid creativity and various works of genuine literary value. Over 20 publishing houses from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro are participating in the fair, which have brought new and existing publications of various vices to Tuz, while there will also be promotions of the books of various authors from Malta and other Albanian countries.

At the opening ceremony of this edition, the mayor of the Tuz municipality, Nick Gilosaj, stressed the importance of developing culture, art and science in Tuz. Even though we were in extremely difficult conditions because of our pandemic last year, last year we managed to successfully organize the book fair, aware that we don't have time to lose, and that the sooner we get in touch with culture, art, science, so with the lines of knowledge, the sooner we're going to develop and walk before”, Gelosaj said.

On behalf of the organizer of the audience, she addressed the Secretariat's representative for local self-government of the Tuz municipality, Marina Wolfaj, who thanked publishing houses that accepted the invitation for participation and invited all citizens to visit the fair in the coming days.

Also, the mayor of the municipality, Nick Gilosha, gave thanks to the ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Montenegro, Ylber Hysa, for contributing to the development of the Tuz municipality. The ceremony took place in the presence of many personalities of political, literary, social and public life. Otherwise, the “Summer Book Fair in Malta” in Tuz will be open until 21 August, while interested people can visit the same from 9am to 12, as well as from 18 to 22:00.
