Every time we talk about the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, the question always arises whether Brussels has the power to push the parties towards the finish. Belgrade Institute for European Studies Professor Slobodan Zecevic in an interview for T V K1, has said Brussels has power to solve the Kosovo-Serbia problem and that Washington is the key, writes the Express newspaper.
According to the Serbian professor, the European Union has contributed to the way Kosovo behaves in dialogue, until it recalls the time of tax removal as a result of pressure from Trump Administration.
I think Albanians have a special treatment in the European public, where their opinion is that they are victims, and they have followed Kosovo's clear policy for decades”, Zecevic has said.
Yours has spoken about the importance of resolving the problem with Kosovo, saying it is one of the vital issues on Serbia's path to the EU.
“The EU must speed up the process for Serbia's membership, whether the Kosovo issue is resolved or not, it does not depend on us” alone, it has added further.
