Twenty-five pregnant women are lying in a ward for COVIDD-19 in the Gynecology Clinic, while 10 are being treated with oxygen therapy, and two are in a more serious condition.
Obstetrics Clinic Director Jakup Ismajli has said the situation at this clinic is not good, while stressing that they have opened the second department to admit pregnant people with COVID-19 as well.
With an increase in cases of COVID-19, the number of pregnant women infected with COVIDD-19 has also increased markedly, especially from last Thursday, where we have them spread from 25 to 26 every day, but that figure variations, since they are easier, we guide them with therapy. Gradually, the number is rising, we have opened today the next unit to accept pregnancy with COVIED”, Ismajli said on Telegrafi.
He added that, at the moment, “are 25 pregnant people, in a separate department for COVID-19”.
Of these 25 pregnant 10 are in oxygen therapy, and two are slightly more affected. We're consulting with the polymologist, anesthesiologist, infection, so they're on permanent monitoring by professionals”, Ismaili said.
He made it known that none of the pregnant women infected with COVID-19, laid out in the clinic he runs, did not receive any of the doses of the anti vaccine. - CO VID.
Like other health professionals, gynecologist Jakup Ismajli, director of the Gynecological and Obstetric Clinic, has called for vaccines.
We've made several appeals that pregnant people are recommended to vaccinate, given that complications are much larger than this disease. All pregnant women in addition to keeping distance and other measures, the only precautionary measure in spreading the disease is vaccine. Therefore, I recommend that all pregnant women be vaccinated”, Ismaili said.
Otherwise, Kosovo's Clinical and University Hospital Service has indicated that at CKUK and general hospitals are dealing with 902 confirmed patients with COVID-19, of which 37 are in serious condition.
According to the USKKUK's daily report, the total number of patients lying on the ground is 1,000 and 16, while there are 797 confirmed with COVID-19 that are being treated with oxygen therapy.
