Through a Facebook post, Pacolli says that without any political claim or preference for someone, he finds it necessary to invite representatives of both countries to unite, at a time when support for Kosovo from Albania is necessary.
He says that for these personal principles, heads of state should not take actions that harm Kosovo.
Pacolli's post comes after the debate on “Open Balkans” and the holiday for Serbian singer Goran Bregovic to sing in Albania, as well as Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama's response to these issues.
Full Posting:
“No political claims, support, criticism or preference towards anyone, I have more than enough to invite representatives of the institutions of our two countries (Albania and Kosovo) to reduce tensions, put aside resentments and whims and personal interests, and start working together and harmonising and co-ordinating all political actions, at a time when support for Kosovo from Albania is most necessary.
I believe that because of its <x0-cyrvarities “the heads of state should not take any action that could harm Kosovo or deprive it of its journey, especially when it is located at the “the great crossroads”.
Any claim to “challenged rival” between Kosovo and Albania's political leaders would be a defeat for Kosovo, not for Albania, as it is clear that Albania is in a stronger position than Kosovo, starting with the fact that Albania is a state, de facto and de jure, a member of all global organisations and recognised by all over the world, with a long political tradition, is economically stronger than Kosovo, and also the fact that every day Albania is becoming more important in and wider.
Therefore, Kosovo politicians must immediately start and operate with their colleagues in Albania jointly, without arrogance and emotion to harmonise their actions, always in the interest of citizens, and especially of the State-Degradation of Kosovo. ...
There is no Albanian Albanian Albanian Albanian Albanian Albanian Albanian or political representative who does not want Kosovo!”.
