Murati after the situation in Afghanistan: Quo status is unstable, Kosovo must solve problems with Serbia as soon as possible

The chairman of the Movement for the Union, Valon Murati, has reacted after the situation in Afghanistan, where after these developments it says that our state must consolidate and use dialogue with Serbia to solve problems. While stressing that exiting from a status quo to the international plan and reporting with Serbia is necessary. Murati points out that [...]
Murati emphasises that internal unity must be strengthened, functionally functioning the state of Kosovo, “should definitely strengthen rule of law, increased co-ordination with Tirana and work closely with our allies”.
His full response:
The statue is unstable
The dramatic developments of these days in Afghanistan, the pre-coherent ones in Nagorno Karabah, and above all geopolitical changes with the strengthening of China and the return of Russia as a global actor, testify one thing: status is unstable. Reading these developments directly, in our case we must understand that exiting the status quo in the international plan and reporting with Serbia is necessary. There is no other way in this direction than understanding that dialogue should be used with Serbia to resolve the remaining problems with it, including the East Kosovo issue. We should not fear dialogue, but we must use it for the greater good. Along with dialogue and our position, it should strengthen internal unity, functionally functioning the state of Kosovo, especially the rule of law should be strengthened, co-ordination with Tirana should be enhanced and worked close to our allies. All these geopolitical changes should make us aware that the state of Kosovo needs to consolidate as a first step. And as a second step, we need the union (not division) with Albania, not only as a historical right but, above all, in the function of increasing security and economic development in a changing world.
