Kurti has said the establishment of the Opera institution will further the governing programme of this Government, thus supporting artists.
He has also denied that establishing this institution will cause any implications in the 2021 budget.
This event has come up, and today we have singers and artists from Kosovo who appear on world opera scenes, but we have not had where to listen. By 2022 the Kosovo Opera institution will open its doors to them. By establishing this opera we move forward our governing plan by supporting the artists. The establishment of the Opera institution will have no implications on the 2021 budget. As far as the location is concerned, we will build a suitable facility that will take more time. Until the building of the new object we will establish the institution in an existing” object.
Kurti has also said that Kosovo through art has opened the doors of the world and is opening them here as well.
And the chairman of the Commission for Education, Ardian Gola, has said they have reviewed this proposal and supported it.
“We recommend this Parliament to approve this decision” by vote.
Present at the hall have been 63 deputies and have participated in the vote, where this Kosovo Government proposal has remained to be cast again in a vote after the pause, which will last until 3:30.
