Police have issued a statement confirming the indictment for the player.
“Benjamin Mendy, 27, has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault”.
The “Acuses are linked to three complaints over the age of 16 and allegedly occurred between October 2020 and August 202118x1>.
The “Mendy has been detained in the police and will appear at the Chester Court on Friday, August 27th”, the report said.
