According to him, the delay was due to his health causes, while adding that he will continue to support the AKR and the assembly list candidates.
His slogan in these elections was expected to be “I'm a little girl.
His full response:
I just received news that the CEC will not certificate my candidacy for Pristina chairman.
This is due to a 2019 act, I've made the declaration of property 48 hours after completing the legal deadline for statements, (including weekends).
Well, the deadline was Friday, and the statement Monday morning, 8:00 in my physical presence. This delay has occurred as a result of my trip to health matters abroad.
Although in essence this is an arbitrary and irrational decision, the judicial decisions are sacred and indisputable.
I swear that even though I will not officially be a candidate for Pristina chairman, my desire and commitment for the citizens of Pristina is even greater. I will remain loyal to you and support all of our candidates for the municipal assembly, especially my subject's candidate. AKR for Pristina chairman.
I assure you that my pledge to citizens is just as valuable and will not abstain but will continue my commitment as before receiving this news.
It will continue to implement all projects planned for this mandate, and the first projects for the following mandate, which are vital to our city.
