Ron Haviv is the author of photographs in which Hajrush Ziber, the Albanian from Macedonia who lived in Bijelina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is seen just before the assassination. He was killed by “The Tigers of Akran” at the age of 24. Hajrushi was from the village of Laskarca near Skopje, while Bijelina was a waiter.
His two friends, Abdurraham and Bejtullah, were also killed with him that fateful day. Three months before he was killed by Arkan criminals, Hajrushi married Hikemta. That morning, as usual, he was on his way to work, but he did not get there.

He was found on Sava, May 4, 1992. He was buried like N.N. (No name). With DNA analysis identified in Visoko, where the remains were then buried in Macedonia on 19 September 2004.
There are two Hajrush photos at the moment when the “Tigers of Arkan” mistreat him in Bijelina. One is the American news agency Associated Press, and the other where the “Tigrate...” is given water from Ron Haviv.
