Dr. Lehmiler explains that couples tend to be bored with sexual routine, but the changes are the ones that reawaken our interest in sex. The key to all of this lies in a substance known as dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that directly relates to the brain pleasure center. It's a substance that makes us feel good. She gets excited by the changes or innovations that happen, so try to be creative when it comes to having a couple passion.

Those who continue to keep passion alive in bed are most likely to do these five very important things:

1. More preparation times pass to awaken the desire

2. They practice sexual communication, so they talk to each other about sex

3. Practice oral sex

4. They are, in general, happier with their relationship
