Police officials at the Border Police- Hani Elez Police station, at the entrance to the Republic of Kosovo, at Customs Terminal, have controlled with special equipment (discovering the presence of people in vehicles) a license truck with license plates from the Republic of Northern Macedonia (RMV), which came in charge of Turkey.
“During the checkup, after received signals it is decided that the trailer will be opened for more detailed inspection. After the check, two immigrants have been found in the truck trailer: A. Mr. From Algeria, who did not own ID documents and T. A. from Libya with a passport from Libya. The suspects had been placed in the truck trailer, damaging part of the trailer cover”, police report.
“During their interview, they claim they came from Greece to RMV two days ago and then tried to enter the Republic of Kosovo”.
The case is being handled in co-ordination with the custody prosecutor.
